What can you be the best at in the world?  That is the focus of today’s video.  Yesterday we talked about passion and the importance of building a business around your passion.

There was a lot of great feedback you agreed that passion is the foundation for building a long term, stable business.  After you find your passion  you really then must figure out what you can be the best at in the world.

Below are the 3 circles that I talk about in the video regarding the “Hedgehog Concept” that’s mentioned in Jim Collins’ book “Good to Great.”

In the video I explain what the hedgehog concept is and how to start to apply your passion to those gifts that you have inside of you for your personal brand.

How do you like what you’re seeing so far?  Are you actually applying this stuff?

I really like that the videos are short and to the point. From day 1 (passion) to day 2 what am I great at, helped me do some thinking, I’m like you My hot pursuit has been knowing and believing who I am in Christ (personal development) coming from an abusive life, it makes sense. My passion is know help others develop that also. Connecting people has always been a gift for me too. I’m headed toward greatness in personal development, and really enjoy internet marketing, although I’m a newbie. I care alot about being whole myself and others. Thanks for the insite.

Great point on focusing on your strengths and outsourcing those things that you are not the best at. Really liked the point that, “I’m no Tony Robbins, but Tony Robbins is no Alejandro Reyes.” Excellent reminder to us all that we are all uniquely designed and created with different gifts and abilities and well equipped to do what we are passionate about.

I’ve been told that I am a good listener. I enjoy listening to people and responding when necessary to encourage, inspire, connect and watch them move forward with their lives in new and passionate ways.
Teach financial accountability, and entreprenuership to young people in our society, especially young men and women of color. I’d like to motivate them to reach for their highest potential and how to give back to their communities.

    Hi Alejandro –

Like you, I tend to have a ‘gift’ in connecting people to other people who can then form their own business relationship. I want to form the direction of my business to be able to offer not only niche marketing to small business owners, but to also be able to do social online networking for them. I have been studying for a little over a year now, and seem to have a good handle on most of it. I do see some changes I need to make.

I don’t have a website for QuietProductions Conceptual Marketing yet. I chose to focus on the BodyBlessings Massage & Aromatherapy for this year to build a clientele and to give myself time to learn what I need to learn to expand QuietProductions. Hence, I left my current website-BodyBlessings Massage Therapy.com. I have a few changes to make on it as well.

I like the fact that you are keeping these short, not filling them with a bunch of rhetoric just to glorify yourself. Thanks for keeping it simple!

I just found your site from a link from Third Tribe, and really like what you have going on here. You obviously live your passion and are very authentic and I think that’s why you are so motivational.

Great idea to offer a free video course except with the payment of an email, because that does have value.
